Air Force pilots may be good and fly as well as Navy pilots.
But it is only the Navy pilot who after completing his mission must return to his carrier, attempt to land on a spot that looks like a postage stamp in a vast ocean and catch wire number three, while his engine is at full power as the carrier races through the ocean at 30 knots, night or day, rain, snow or shine, equipment failures, fatigue or even shot up, it must be done 100% correctly.
