Jeff Corey,
a Yorktown Photographers Mate during World War Two was given an award from US
Navy Photographer Capt.
Ed Steichen for his bravery during the kamikaze attacks on the Yorktown.
Jeff Corey went on to become an actor in Hollywood and acted with such
actors as John Wayne and Dustin Hoffman.
