Riley Jackson Christy, while serving aboard the USS Yorktown a gunboat, which saw action in both the Spanish American War and World War One.

Brothers Barney Christy and Riley Jackson Christy were part of the crew of the gunboat USS Yorktown, serving in the US Navy 1920.
